When searching online for car shipping services, you’ll find two main types of companies:

Auto transport brokers and carriers.

• A carrier owns the trucks and physically transports your vehicle.
• A broker (like Nexroute Transportation LLC) connects customers with trusted, licensed
carriers to provide the best price, route, and service.

Transit time depends on the distance and route. On average, car shipping takes 1–2 weeks.

• Pickup window: 1–3 days
• Delivery window: 3–5 days

Yes, but with restrictions. You may place up to 100 pounds of personal belongings, securely
packed in the trunk or below the window line.

Please note:

• Items are not covered by carrier insurance.
• For port or international shipments, the vehicle must be completely empty.

Yes
Every shipment through Nexroute Transportation LLC is covered by carrier insurance.
We verify that each carrier’s insurance is valid and active before assigning them. Your
vehicle is fully covered against negligent damage caused by the carrier or their equipment.

Yes. You or a trusted representative should be present to:

• Sign the Bill of Lading (BOL)
• Inspect the vehicle at pickup and delivery

Our quotes are based on:

• Distance between pickup and delivery locations
• Vehicle type, size, and condition (running or non-running)
• Transport type (open or enclosed)
• Pickup date and shipping demand

Yes. You can contact our transport team at any time for an update on your vehicle’s location
and estimated delivery date.

We recommend keeping the fuel tank between 1/8 and 1/2 full. This makes loading and
unloading easier and safer.

Absolutely. With door-to-door service, your vehicle is picked up from your location and
delivered directly to your destination, eliminating terminal drop-offs. If you cannot be
present, a family member or trusted contact may sign the BOL on your behalf.

No. Our quotes include all taxes, tolls, carrier insurance, and door-to-door service. We believe
in transparent pricing with no hidden fees.

Yes. We can ship inoperable or non-running vehicles. Requirements:

• The vehicle must roll, steer, and brake.
• If the vehicle cannot roll, a forklift will be needed for loading/unloading (customer
must arrange this).

• Open carriers – Affordable, commonly used for standard vehicles.
• Enclosed carriers – Best for luxury, antique, or exotic vehicles as they offer maximum
protection from weather and road debris.

The most cost-effective option is usually open carrier transport during summer months,
when availability is high.

We recommend booking as early as possible to secure the best price and carrier availability.
For last-minute needs, we also offer expedited pickup options (additional cost).

We cannot guarantee exact dates, but we work within a pickup window of about 2 business
days. Expedited pickup is available for urgent shipments.

• No payment required at booking
• At pickup: we charge a small deposit via credit card (Stripe) or Zelle
• At delivery: remaining balance is paid directly to the driver via cash, certified check, or
electronic transfer

Your initial payment (deposit) depends on distance and service type. Nothing is due at the
time of booking. Payment is only required once your vehicle is picked up.

Yes. Please remove your E-ZPass or any toll collection devices before transport. If left in the
car, they may incur charges as the vehicle passes through tolls.

Although rare, if damage occurs:

• Note it on the Bill of Lading at delivery
• Take photos/videos at pickup and delivery
• You’ll be assisted in filing a claim with the carrier’s insurance
